Todays Song…

1 Apr

I heard one of my favourite songs on the radio this morning, so I thought I’d share.

I love The Beatles, was born in the wrong decade and when I went to see Cirque De Soleil Love in Vegas I totally got beatlemania.

In other news, its April fools day. We are still having the new office worked on, and the boys have sent the handy man out to redirect traffic as we are “having some trees removed”. He’s gone for it hook line and sinker (poor guy) and is at the end of the road in a fluorescent jacket, diverting cars. I’m on pain of death to not go down and tell him, but I feel bad as its arctic cold out there!

Happy birthday to Emmy for tomorrow, Ive only just got over the last hangover!

Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Good song and i loved the recent Glee cover of it. Ah poor guy, good joke though! A couple of people in my office fell for the Metro paper jokes today and the Sun did one about a gorilla using an iPad. Pinch punch first day of the month 🙂

The poor man who is directing the non-existent traffic. That is some April Fool’s joke. Most people I know don’t go in for them in the States anymore. Maybe we need to laugh more.

I feel the same way about The Beatles, and I also saw Love in Vegas. 🙂

Oh, and I always use that song as an example when I want to prove how far downhill pop music lyrics have gone since then.

Yay for love tour! I know what you mean, if only music today was as simple as I get by with a little help from my friends 🙂

I was definitely born in the wrong decade! I should have been born in the 70’s :(.
On another note – Good read! 🙂

I heart the Beatles and love their solo stuff as well but nothing like them all together. I wanna hold your hand always makes me smile 🙂 Like you, think I was born in the wrong decade.

Wondered where you were today :p I KNOW especially the big where they do the sketches with their voices and have their silhouettes on the White sheets. I wish I had been a teenager in their heyday. Or even born!

I too was a victim of being born too late. Most of my favorites were in their prime before I was born or when I was a wee little one. The Beatles rank high on my list. I only plan to get one tattoo, which is in the works and it will include the words, “In My Life.” It’s my most favorite song of theirs and also holds sentimental value for loved ones lost. It’ll definitely be a post once i get it, that’s for sure. Great song Laura 🙂

it’s funny, Paul’s solo work is the soundtrack of my life but I never got into the rest of the boys work. Oh well.
