Never Judge a Book By its Cover

15 Mar

This is the reason I haven’t slept for the last two nights. My Dad is away on honeymoon and he normally locks her in the kitchen at night. I think that’s a bit cruel as she is on her own all day and I’m a bit of a cat lady so I let her roam, and she chooses to curl up on my bed.

She looks cute, but this is her “if I look cute your defences will be down and ill eat your brains while you sleep” look.

I was awoken to being head butted at 2am, and then jabbed in the face at 4. She went in the kitchen after chomping down hard on my toe.

My friend’s cat used to wake her up by sitting on her face. Isn’t that nice?

People told me that living with cats gives them everything and you nothing, but I have found incredible humor in watching them deal in cat fashion with day to night activity. Our mom cat prefers a nice comfortable sleep on the cable tv box with the grates, and avoids anything soft. We were going to buy her a bed of nails but didn’t want to spoil her. Love it, keep on writing.

Hahaha a friend of mine’s cat tried to eat my toe when I was crashing in her living room one night. And another one woke me up by attacking my HAIR in the middle of the night!

Teehee, so there WAS a reason she was in the kitchen!

She IS cute! My cat slaps me round the face in the morning if I don’t immediately stroke him. Cats know how to live!

Toooo cute!! I think that cat is a reincarnation of a kitten I once had who would bite my toes at night. I once woke up to her LICKING my eyelid as I was sleeping and it creeped me out so much that I started wearing an eye mask to sleep 🙂

What a cute kitty! My kitty looks very similar, they should be friends. 🙂

hehehe! 😎 “You never own a cat, they own you!” This sprang right into my mind as I was reading your post, and it’s so true – but we can’t help loving them all the same, they are so independent and don’t give a damn!

I’ve done quite a bit of cat sitting in my day. and one of the cats I took care of used to brush my hair with his claws at 3am. and then constantly pounce and whack me in the face and sit on my head until 7 am. I refused to get up and feed him (which is what he was after) – it was our own private war.

Ha, ha!! I think she’s related to my cat… He wakes me up at odd hours of the night too. 🙂

Hahahahahahahahha…oh my god…too funny!!! I have the SAME CAT!!! I love her to death, but she is a freaking brat.

  18. anne March 16, 2011 at 4:07 am #

Yeah, our cat and dog are ‘free-range’ pets, lol, but that does cause problems sometimes! The cat will attack my hand if it slips off the side of the bed, and more than once I’ve been awakened by the sound of glass crashing…. but whatya gonna do?! I love the annoying things…

  19. littlecurio March 16, 2011 at 5:39 am #

Oh that cat has pure evil in it’s eyes! They are like laserbeams of anger directed at you… how did you cope!? Thanks for visiting my blog, I loved reading about naughty co-workers trying to trick you into sugar hits on yours!

ahh it’s so true, both of our cats in my house have free range, but every once in a while we kick them out of the room when they start pulling the “let’s wake them up at random whenever we want” bit.
