Twinkle Twinkle My Little Star

10 Feb

Reach high, for stars lie hidden in your soul. Dream deep, for every dream precedes the goal. Pamela Vaull Starr

This one is directed specifically at a certain person who panics too much, who worries about what people think and what she should do. The girl who feels she is slightly less deserving that everyone else, but would help you if she can.

This girl needs to realise how important she is, and how there are stars lying hidden in her soul. The girl who called me every day when I was in hospital, came round with flowers and just popped in to make sure I wasn’t by myself. The one who came as my date to my dad’s wedding when I had no boy to take, and mixed with my family as if she had always been there.

I know this post is a little emo, but sometime you have to reach out to the people closest to you when they are suffering, and let them know that they are special, despite what they think of themselves.

OK so she may not be the most confident, the bravest or the loudest, but she is the best cake maker this side of the Hummingbird Cafe!
